Rajkumar Rao is back again, and this time he plays a voting booth attendant in this uplifting movie on the right to vote.
The trailer starts off with Newton at a girl’s house, as his parents plan to try and find someone he should marry. When it revealed that the girl in only 16 and half years old, Newton stands up and the disgust can be seen in his actions.
He believes in what is right, and in honesty in everyone. And therefore he sees it his duty as a voting booth attendant to make sure everyone votes in the local elections.
He must travel through a war and teach the villagers the power of the vote and having their say. He has to overcome others egos, the ongoing war, and the general view that that voting is a joke.
In this movie, Newton learns to speak up for himself and teach this group of local villagers how to make an impact on society.
Newton releases on Friday the 22nd of September, 2017.
