The Tubelight trailer was releases overnight, and it’s given us a a lot more information on the story line than the teaser did.

The first thing we can see is that Salman Khan and Sohail Khan are both registering for the army. Sohail seems to be a bit more serious about the issue, while Salman seems to be enjoying the experience more.

Salman is the innocent and often clumsy brother between the two, and is referred to as Tubelight by most of the people around the recruitment camp. His real name is Laxman Singh Bisht.

He then introduces in Sohail as his brother in the movie, Bharat. Ram aur Shatrughna kahaan hai? Bharat has always believed in Laxman. And their friendship has been strong from such a young age.

But they have to split when Bharat gets selected to fight for India, and Laxman does not causing Laxman to feel fearful and alone. Bharat promises that he’ll be back.

When Laxman sees that not everyone is coming back from the war alive, he is fearful of Bharat safety and goes on a search to find him. Along the way he meets this Chinese woman (Zhu Zhu), that he falls madly in love with.

As the trailer starts coming to and end, we see glimpses what to expect throughout the movie. There’s a shot of Shah Rukh Khan; of the war; and of Laxman trying to move the earth.

Some of the scenes remind me of Bajirangi Bhaijaan (2015), and the search for someone through an unknown location. I hope this isn’t the case.

Tubelight releases in Australia on Friday the 23rd of June, 2017. Tickets are available at Hoyts.
